Rental Magica was adapted from light novel that written by Makoto Sanda and ilustrated by pako.
The Light Novel itself was serialized in The Sneaker bunko in August 2004 and still continued until now and have reached volume 10
This series have adapted to 2 different manga
First is shoujo manga by Akiho Narimiya
And another one is shounen manga by Makoto2go serialized in Comptic Ace in 26 May 2007
